E's 1st Birthday {party.}

We had a little family get-together to celebrate Ella's birthday.

I had dreams of a cute little outdoor event underneath the bradford pear tree.  But...

A.) it was rainy and
2.) the bradford pear is in 150 pieces in the burn pile.

So we had a cute little indoor event.

My mom found the little Strawberry Shortcake on top of Ella's cake from my childhood stash.  It's going on 30 years old...

It was such a nice little family get-together.  

Traditional, family recipes for homemade ice cream.  

Chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and a strawberry on top.  

Wrestling. 

Running.  

Laughter.  

All to celebrate the first year of my favorite girl in the whole wide world.
