Last year we planted our first garden.
Miles was 3 years old.
He soaked it up like the sun.
This year, as we've expanded a bit, there's lots more dirt for planting.
I wasn't paying much attention to what Miles was doing one afternoon... he had been playing with toys in the dirt and entertaining himself.
But then I realized he had hi-jacked the marigolds from across the yard, carried them to an empty bed and was planting them on his own.
He didn't ask for help.
He didn't need help.
He's a complete gardening pro.
At almost four years old.

It is so amazing how quickly the children will catch onto tasks. So sweet that he loves to help. How could you not love this?
