That's what we do when we get a 2" layer of ice and then 9 inches of snow.

There's usually a tree that stands as tall as the antennae tower behind the house. We woke up early Friday morning to the top of that tree falling onto our metal carport roof. Britton, Ella & I were sound asleep upstairs with the window open. (Having the window open sounds crazy, but it gets freakishly hot upstairs when we crank the heater in cold weather like this.) The big bunch of branches fell about a foot outside the open window and crashed onto the metal roof.
Scared us to death!
The snow is beautiful. But that ice has created a mess out of Oklahoma!
