We took a quick boat trip down the river to Disney Springs after returning from Animal Kingdom. We were originally supposed to travel all the way back to AK for dinner, but we stayed later than anticipated and were just too tired to return. The concierge at our resort was extremely helpful in canceling our reservation and found us a new reservation at Raglan Road Irish Pub instead. This was a much closer alternative and we enjoyed it very much.
The pub had a great, lively atmosphere. There was either an Irish folk band playing or Irish step dancers performing the entire night. At one point, the dancers asked children in the restaurant if they'd like to participate. Emmett said "yes" and shockingly walked on stage all by himself.
He did three foot taps and left. Apparently, irish step dancing is not his jam.
We visited a few souvenir shops while at Disney Springs.
Emmett found a Sorcerer Mickey hat that he HAD to have. His powers became stronger than ever.
After a quick boat trip back, we called it a night.
