snow days.

After 2 crazy weeks of cold and snowy weather around here, I can now announce that the 7-day forecast has 70 degree temperatures in it.
That's a 95 degree sway in temperature within one week.
Gotta love Oklahoma.

So lets remember the snow one more time before it melts away...

Miles saw his dream of building a snow man come true...

He loved "jumping in da snow drifts!"

Deuce enjoyed them too.

Though we dared not venture out for a few days because of the treacherous roads, Papa & Grandma live just close enough to make it on their Rhino...

Which made for some AWESOME sledding in the back yard.

Ella got to sled too.

She absolutely LOVED being pulled around as fast as I could run in snow up to my knees.

We all got turns being pulled by the Rhino...

This idea made me have a heart attack at first...

But then I realized they were hardly going 2 mph so I should really just chill out...

The "snow train" was quite hilarious.

Deuce is cracking me up.....just chasing them around the yard a million times.

Ella also LOVES her little pink snow suit.  She'd try to put it on in the house all week...sometimes just stuffing her hands into the mittens (which are attached to the sleeves) and dragging the rest of it around.

We played for over an hour one afternoon...

...Which was about 2 minutes too long.
But we're so thankful for the snow and the fun we've had these last two weeks.

But if it's going to be 70 degrees maybe it's time to start planning the garden (once all the snow it out of there of course)!

I love your sledding pictures! It reminds me of my youth. Sometimes my Dad would pull me behind their tiny tractor. I love it when it snowed. Wonderful family memories.

I am really astonished at the temperature change you will experience. I wonder if it is a passing front or if you will warm up for spring? Keep us in touch!
