Snow Day #4 {...you heard right.}

Call me crazy, but I'm rather enjoying this weather.

The Blllizz-arrrd of Two Thousaaand Elevvvven.
(That's the way they say it on the news....so dramatic.)

{taking cookies & hot chocolate to our neighbor}

I don't mind the snow and I think my friend said it perfectly on her facebook status...
"Snow days are an opportunity to get closer to the pace we were meant to move."

We're busy little bees all year long.
Often complaining of all that we must accomplish.

A little break is nice.

And I may be the only person in the state who turned away a nice man two different nice men who came into our driveway with a tractor offering to scoop away all the snow.
(In fact, I was pretty sad they made tracks at all....ha!)

Heck no!  This is beautiful.

And I'll go ahead and say it 'cause I know we're all thinking it...
I'm sooooo weird.
Don't wear your shoes on my carpet...
And don't walk in my snow.
Thank you.

I'm right there with you. I LOVE this weather. The only bust is having to drive out in this with a tiny car. But then there's this sick fascination that I have with driving really slowly and feeling the car jolt this way and that way.
...anyway. You're not the only crazy one. And I adore your friend's comment.

If you're weird, I'm weird, too. I love that pristine snow-covered look. So so pretty.

Looks like you're having some awesome slow-down family time!

My kids and I want your snow!!
I've loved your 4 days of snow coverage!
I'm glad you can enjoy it!

I feel the same way about being sick- let me explain.
I have been sick for 4 days, not miserable, but fevery and yukky nonetheless. But it has allowed--er--forced me to slow down and I have completed reading two books!

We just gotta go with the flow sometimes!

Loving the snow, also. However, I do not have to get out in it to go to work ... when I did I had a love-hate relationship with the ice that seemed to always come before the snow in Oklahoma. Tomorrow it is predicted that we will have more snow. I'm looking forward to the peacefulness of it and curling up with my little dog on the sofa. Love your blog, Faith.
