Every spare minute of the last week has been spent finishing up some baby gifts/decor for a shower. I'm so relieved proud to announce the completion of....
Cute, huh? Knitted it myself. It only took 427 hours.
And taking photos of it was equally difficult with the little baby girl who is becoming more and more interested in helping me with every little thing.
As cute as the elephant is, this may be my favorite knitting project ever...
My SIL, Heather, and I whipped out these birds from a pattern in the book Natural Nursery Knits by Erika Knight.
I have the book on loan from the library.
If anyone would like to purchase this book for me to have and to hold forever and ever that would be ok.
Everything in it is completely adorable and a little treacherous for an on-the-fence-about-the-third-child gal...is it okay to have more babies just so you can knit tiny little things for them?
My friend Maris knitted all the leg warmers and hats below.
(She's 17 and made the patterns up on her own....stinkin' amazing.)
Heather and I made the onesies.
It was a crafty week.
She's been trying to get ahold of me for days but I've just been too busy being Crafty McCrafterson.

Wow, I wish I'd gotten some of that at my shower. So cute!

See ya in May for this first annual event my friend!! ;-)
I was going to tell you that your elephant is just about the cutest thing I have ever seen. You are fabulous. :)
When I have kids you can make me all the little birds you want. (and I'm totally for a baby buss number 3)
