It was a busy weekend...
Britton continued work on the bathroom renovation. And I am happy to report that the toilet is back where it should be.

We have good friends. They helped out. Thanks Terry, Drew & Josh! If I were a famous blogger, you could be excited about the name dropping. But I'm not famous, so please accept this honest and humble shout-out. :0)
Here they are making a huge mess on my front porch... ...I mean cutting some HardieBacker for the shower.

Aren't they cute? And doesn't this picture just make you wanna sing "lean on me....when you're not strong....and I'll be your friend....". Well, it does me.
Britton starts a new job today managing operations and many other important things that I don't know much about at SCTV (that's Shawnee Community TV, for those who have no clue). Yup. That means a move back to Shawnee. We're excited. And sad. It's hard to leave Pauls Valley. And harder to leave Cornerstone.
Miles is just certain that no matter where we live, "Speed" must go with him.

By the way, if you haven't seen Disney's Cars, you must. Pick it up from your local video store, put it in your netflicks queue, borrow it from a 4 year old that you know. Whatever you have to do. And then grab some popcorn, a sugary beverage of your choice and enjoy. It's pretty darn cute. I've seen it 483 times since we recorded it on the DVR in September. Maybe more. In fact, it nearly saved my life many times when I was "deathly" ill my first trimester. Miles would sit on the couch with me and watch it while I avoided movement. Miles calls Lightning McQueen, "Speeeeed". He came up with that all by himself.
My favorite characters are Luigi & Guido. And I can't pick just one, because they are sort of a team. Neither is quite so funny without the other. But man, are they funny.
"Guido, punch me in the face.."
That kills me.
When you're done watching the movie, or if you've already seen it, leave a comment telling me which car is your favorite character.
Let's i-n-t-e-r-a-c-t. It'll be fun.
But maybe not as fun as this.

I do believe Mator is my favorite... Or the old lady car that talks to herself.

Well, having seen it at least 483 times myself, I have many favorites. Mater makes me laugh. I like Sally's sassiness. And I like Guido and Luigi as well. Jackson and I spend many hours playing with these characters as well as Ramone, Stacy, Doc, Mac...well, I could go on...

Yay!! Welcome to blogger!! :)
Oh, and Cars is not just for four-year-olds.... my Dad has {literally} watched it hundreds of times. He bought it when it came out and watched it every. single. day. for a month! Crazy. He did that with The Incredibles too. I guess having three girls makes you a sucker for a good Disney movie. :)
Wait, Sonja. Who the heck is Stacy?
Sam! I've secretly stalked your blogs for months. :) It looked like fun, so here I am!
Psh. I love cars. It is an amazing movie. And I have to agree with Erin. Mator is my favorite. He makes me smile. But what doesn't make me smile is you talking about leaving cornerstone. :( That just makes me rather sad..
Hi - I ended up here from iHeartFaces(fab fotos btw).. and here you are blogging my all time favourite movie! No matter how many times I watch it I still cry at the end (so embarassing). I can't possibly pick a favourite car... I'm waiting for all the new ones in Cars 2 in 2011 when my little man will be 6 and will hopefully manage to sit through a whole movie without visiting the toilet every 20 minutes!
