Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to a post full of randomosity and haphazardness.

Who am I kidding. This whole blog is random every time...

I finished a scarf for my brother. Here he is posing... but his face looked silly, so I cut it off.

The scarf looks good though. He wore it out "on the town" tonight. I was flattered. You must understand that my brother is always very stylishly dressed. And because he was working the scarf, my very own creation, I, by default, am stylish. (Hey, it's as close as I'll probably ever get...)

Now I'm knitting a cutie little hat for Miles, though from the looks of it, I may have to give it to a child with a smaller head. I'll keep you posted on it's progress (like you care about the progress of a hat that I'm knitting, but you are reading this....)

Miles and I ran to Wal-Mart about 5:00pm to grab stuff for dinner. Britton requested burgers and oven fries, and I had none of those ingredients. As I was unloading my groceries, a friend of mine pulled in the driveway and said he might have an interested buyer for the house. Long story short, he and his wife came in to have a look around and, I, in my excitement, dumped Miles and the groceries in the living room and gave a quick tour.

I came back in the living room to find this.....

Today, blueberries were 2 for $6.... AND all over my living room floor.

Who's to blame?

I'm pleased to report that none were irreversibly ground into my rug....

PS - aren't those two cute? Madagascar was on and Britton was trying to get King Julian's voice down. "Let's go meet the pansies!" Miles was just glad his da-yee was home...

While making the trek to Wal-Mart, I realized how cold it was getting. Temps were dropping like crazy around here, and while I'm a great proponent for good-ol'-outdoor-charcoal grilling, I also believe there is a time and place for such fun.

When Britton and I got married, we received a George Foreman grill as a gift. It served us well for over 7 years, but I had to throw it out several months ago because the teflon (black stuff) was beginning to peel off, and well, I didn't want teflon in my burgers.

But tonight, in Wal-Mart, because I was cold, I ventured over to the kitchen appliances aisle. And...

The Lean Mean Grilling Machine was on SALE. Who can argue with that? I'll grill outdoors when it's warm.

You know, I've decided that anyone who names seven of his ten children after himself must be alright. Britton and I are trying really hard to name this baby girl. Maybe we should go with George's philosophy.....

So is it Faith Jr. or Britton-y?

Snuggle up. It's cold outside.
F.
