I procrastinated until the last minute on making Valentine's Day cards to send to M & E's cousins.
I had big dreams of way cute.
But when you wait until the last minute, you just cut a heart stamp out of a potato in your pantry, get some craft paint out of your stash, cut up some scrap-booking paper, strip the kid to his skivvies' and see what happens.
We had so much fun!
Miles l-o-v-e-d painting the heart (we figured out this was the best way to apply the paint)...
...and then he'd slam the stamp down on his cards (just as a little boy should). Sometimes he'd say "gotcha!" as he stamped.
Once the paint was dry, Ella and I ate sewed on some ribbon and fabric embellishments...
Miles colored the inside of each of the cards and...voila!
