happy valentine's day! {put on love.}

I remember singing this song at church when I was a little girl.  It always pops in my head on Valentine's Day.


"Put on love, everyday.
Never hide your love away.
Don't save love for a special day.
Just put on love everyday.
Put on love everyday.


Put on love on Monday. 
Put on love on Tuesday too.
Put on love the whole week through.
Just put on love everyday.
Put on love everyday." 

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.  Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another.  Forgive as the Lord forgave you.  And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

And on a completely unrelated note, I took the above photograph earlier this week when the sun remembered it could still shine.  This morning is a much different story...

It's like living in the twilight zone or something.  I can't remember a winter in Oklahoma with so much snow!
