Our vacation this year happened at the last minute. OBU offers it's employees the opportunity to rent their cabin in Glorieta for $25/day. And though we had not planned to go anywhere this summer, and had not saved any money for a vacation, the cabin came available for rent at the last minute when someone had to cancel. We jumped on the chance to get away!
We researched the things we could do in the area for cheap/free. Britton came across the Santa Fe Children's Museum and they offered free kids admission on Mondays throughout the summer. So for less than $20 we played all afternoon.
If you're in the area, we highly recommend the museum!
