apples.

We have a great big apple tree.
The apples have never turned red and never seem to get sweet.
Britton and the kids bought me another apple tree for my birthday and we planted it hoping the two would cross pollinate and be good for each other.
The big one now has loads of apples, so we decided to pick some.  Surely I can make something yummy if I add enough sugar and cinnamon, right?

Faith. They look SO BIG. It's so hard to believe, but the pictures don't lie! That last picture slays me with its cuteness.

I'm getting caught up on all of my blogs today after taking a long break. Am enjoying all of your posts! I wonder if your apples are Lodi apples? They are really tart, but make awesome applesauce (with lots and lots of sugar).
