KinderGardens 2011 {week 9.}

Everyone in the KinderGardens community handed their cameras over to the kiddos for Week 9 to see what they would capture out in the garden.  You can see what everyone else posted HERE

Inadvertent Farmer

We didn't participate in this activity last year because I only had one (really nice) camera and Miles and Ella were 3 and 1.  This year, however, I have an iPhone (which has a camera).  So I handed it over to Miles and then chased him around with my camera while he took pics.

Later, we looked through the photos he took together and he told me about each one.

Uh... the flowers are no longer growing in that box.  They've suffered a heat stroke.  I guess that's why they call them pansies.  Get it?  Pansies?  Anybody seen Madagascar?  "They're just a bunch of pansies!" - King Julian
OK, never-mind, moving on...
I want you to know that after I saw this photo I picked all the weeds out of the gravel and have no skin left on some of my fingers.

They're not called eggs, son.

...The crazy daisies  are having a heat stroke.

So there you go.

This is almost the sweetest post ever. I say almost because you have so many sweet posts I couldn't possibly pick the sweetest!
He did a great job! I am so tempted to send you a pair of my favorite gardening gloves after hearing about your knuckles--ouch! But you wouldn't wear them because it so darned HOT there! I really feel for you. and here I am complaining that it only got to 65 yesterday, and we are pushing 65 today as well.

Crazy weather!
