I don't understand how we so quickly create so much laundry.
But I knew I would be losing my hot water on Sunday afternoon for an indefinite (even though Britton promises it will be back on today) amount of time, so I decided to get ALL THE LAUNDRY DONE.
The key to that is DONE and PUT AWAY.
I hate putting laundry away.
We mostly wear it out of the folded piles around the house. Underwear (clean) on the kitchen table. Socks from the top of the dryer.

Clothes from the baskets piled on the stairs. Clothes on the hangers hanging from the staircase.
I'm sorry. It's embarrassing. But it's real.
So, hot water is off. Laundry is done. And put away.
Hot water tank closet is getting sheet rock and a new door.
Waiting on plumbers. New hot water tank is getting installed. New hot water tank that was covered by a warranty, thus saving us $1400 in replacement costs.
Thank you, Jesus!
So far, the new water heater is living up to the hype on the box. Nothin' but smiles from me.
