We went to Red Lobster last night. For the most part, I'm against dragging the munkins to dinner at a restaurant. It's not that fun for me.
The last time we went out to eat dinner, Ella screamed the whole time. That was probably 2 months ago.
But, thankfully, last night was better. I needed to get out of the house and Britton needed cheese biscuits.
We had to wait a bit to be seated, but luckily there was entertainment...
We could see a carnival from the parking lot. Miles told us all the colors of the seats on the Ferris wheel and also that it had "ciwrcles and twriangles".
Then, thanks to free iPhone apps, he was able to play a game.
Once seated, there were colors, of course.
E was happy to just eat my knuckles off.
We were both worn out and drenched in slobber by the end of dinner.
On the way home, I showed Miles the giant full moon in the sky.
Me: "Can you see that big moon, Miles?"
Miles: "Yeeeaaahh...go fassster, mommy....tatch it {catch it}!"
Me: "OK buddy, but I don't know if we can catch it..."
Miles: "Mommy! Where'd moon go? Hiding?"
Me: "It's right there....look behind those trees....there it is!"
Miles: "Peed - ka - boo, moon!"
Me: "I love you, kiddo..."
Miles: "Too, momma!"
