birthday week {zoo trip.}

Saturday morning, as predicted, it was 50 degrees and raining.
Saturday morning, because I'm we're hardheaded, we took ourselves to the zoo.

It was W-E-T.

But we got to see all the animals, except the giraffe, despite the rain.  

Especially fun was this snoozing grizzly bear.

It's kinda crazy to be this close to a grizzly bear...

...and gorillas...

...and a "yion"...

...and a "zebwa"...



We had an amazing day.
