Last night, as I lined up the rows of fabric on the bed, Miles was also sitting on the bed watching Thomas the Tank Engine videos. You cannot imagine how many times we have watched those videos on www.thomasandfriends.com.
I'm singing all the songs in my head right now....
It's not a pretty picture.... I don't like doing it! (did anyone else just hear Robin Williams saying that line as Genie in Aladdin?....I've got issues. And just in case you have NO idea what I'm flippin' talking about....)
So back to my train-head. He's so eaten up with trains right now... Everything in his life that connects is a "traaaaain traaaaak". Including the quilt squares....
As he watched me sew them together and lay them on the bed, he began to say "mommy's traaaack".
Then, pretty soon, he'd gone into the living room and brought back his three Geotrax trains.

A dork?? No way!! And seriously, after you finish up her quilt, you should totally make Miles some sort of a train play-mat. :)

Sam, I would totally make him a play-mat if it weren't for the $100's of dollars of actual train track in the living room... hahahaha! But then again, I do need another project after the quilt....
Its cause he misses the train...
