The word on the house is that there is no word. Apparently the realtor sat on hold with the bank for over 45 minutes this afternoon, but we never heard anything back. Stay tuned for more details....

In the meantime, I might need an intervention...

The desire to know...
  1. where I'm going to live
  2. how long will it take before I can live there
  3. how will that timing work out with the baby being born
  4. what is the baby's name going to be
  5. how will Miles adjust through the move
  6. and, who will be the next American Idol..
Well, it's all starting to take it's toll on me. And in order to clear my mind, I knit.

There are baby hats everywhere.

Just in case you wanted to know, this is what Miles & I eat when Britton isn't home for supper....

baked salmon
sweet potato fries
spinach leaves w/ peppercorn ranch dressing

Britton would probably not have considered that dinner to be edible. And frankly I don't know if it "goes" together. But it's what we had.

My brother's band, Midnight to Twelve, is officially back on tour tonight. They're playing in Tempe, AZ. And for any of you locals, they'll be in Dallas at The House of Blues Friday night. Holla if you want to carpool down.

For all you others, check 'em out if you never have. You'll like what you hear!

I'm excited about this...

Lance Armstrong rides again.

But his one-of-a-kind time trial bike was stolen out of the team truck. And that sucks. It's not like someone could just go pawn it. It's LANCE ARMSTRONG'S ONE-OF-A-KIND TIME TRIAL BIKE. Stupid thief. My bike was stolen once. I looked in pawn shops for months hoping to come across it.

One of the greatest print ads I've ever seen was a promo for the Tour de France.... I believe the year Lance won the 5th time. I used to have it in my "favorite things" box.... maybe I'll come across it while packing. Anyway, it said something like...

"the last time an Armstrong rose to such great heights, we landed on the freakin' moon".

I just loved that ad.

And I love to watch Lance ride.

And I love this face.

But not in that order.

F.
